Shopping in Our Store

Do I need a reservation to buy Lederhosen or a Dirndl? No reservation is needed! You can visit our store anytime during opening hours. However, if you are planning to visit with a group of more than 6 people, please let us know in advance so we can provide the best possible service.

How do I get to your shop? Our official store address is: Ruppertstraße 32, 80337 Munich. We are conveniently located in the heart of Munich.

  • Standard route: It is just an 8-minute U-Bahn ride from Marienplatz to Poccistraße with the U3 or U6. From the station, it is a short 3-minute walk to our store, and from there a 5-minute walk to the Oktoberfest grounds (Theresienwiese).

  • Important update (Current U-Bahn construction): Due to maintenance work on the U-Bahn line, a replacement bus service is currently operating. You can board the replacement bus at Sendlinger Tor or directly at the Viktualienmarkt (at the bus stop for line 62) towards Poccistraße. Please check the MVG website for the most up-to-date information before your visit.

Which languages does your staff speak? Our core team speaks German and English. During the Oktoberfest season, we welcome international staff who can assist you in English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Turkish, and Persian.

What is the best time to visit? On Fridays and Saturdays during the Oktoberfest season, our store is very busy. We manage the customer flow with a waiting list at the entrance. During these peak times, fittings are limited to 3 items or a 15-minute slot. For a relaxed experience, we recommend visiting on weekday mornings or early afternoons.

    About Our Products

Do you still have Lederhosen and Dirndls in stock? Yes, we maintain a large inventory in all sizes. We ensure that authentic Lederhosen and Dirndls are available throughout the entire Oktoberfest season.

Do you offer larger sizes? Yes, we do. We offer Dirndls in German sizes 32–50 and Lederhosen in sizes 44–64. Please note that while we always have larger sizes in stock, the variety of models may be slightly smaller than in standard sizes.

Are these authentic items or second-hand/rentals? We sell only brand-new, high-quality garments. We do not offer second-hand items or a rental service. This ensures that every customer receives a fresh, high-quality piece of Bavarian heritage.

Why are authentic Lederhosen more expensive than costumes? Real Lederhosen are a lifelong investment. They are made from genuine leather (such as goatskin or deer hide) and feature traditional hand-finished embroidery. Unlike cheap polyester costumes, authentic Tracht is a high-quality garment that reflects true Bavarian craftsmanship.

Do you offer a "Wiesn-Check" or cleaning service? No, we do not offer a "Wiesn-Check" or any cleaning services. Our focus is exclusively on the sale of new, high-quality Tracht.
