Shopping in Our Store

Do I need a reservation for buying leathertrousers and trachten?

No, you don't need a reservation to visit our store. However, if you are coming with a group of more than 6 people, please let us know in advance so we can prepare for your visit.

Planning Your Visit During Oktoberfest Weekends

On Fridays and Saturdays during the Oktoberfest season, our store experiences a very high volume of customers. To ensure a fair and pleasant shopping experience for everyone, we manage the flow of customers with a waiting list at our entrance.

During these peak times, we kindly limit fittings to a maximum of 3 items per customer or a 10-15 minute time slot.

For a more relaxed visit, we strongly recommend coming at quieter times, such as in the early afternoon on weekdays.

How do I get to your shop?

We're conveniently located in Munich, just an 8-minute U-Bahn ride from Marienplatz and a 5-minute walk from the Oktoberfest grounds.

How big is your store?

Our store may look small from the outside, but it is packed with a wide selection of traditional garments. It's much bigger inside than it appears!

About Our Products

Do you still have Lederhosen in stock?

Yes, we have plenty of stock in all sizes. We ensure there are enough Lederhosen and Dirndl available in all sizes, even until the end of Oktoberfest!

Do you offer larger sizes?

Yes, we do. We offer dirndls in German sizes 32 - 50 and Lederhosen in German sizes 44 - 64. We always have some models available in larger sizes, but the selection may not be as extensive as in smaller sizes.

Do you offer second-hand items?

No. We sell only new items.

Do you offer a rental service?

No. We do not offer a rental service.

Why are Lederhosen so expensive?

The cost of authentic Lederhosen reflects the quality of materials and traditional craftsmanship. Unlike cheap costumes, they're made from genuine leather like goatskin or deer hide and feature handmade embroidery. How should Lederhosen fit?

The right fit for your Lederhosen depends on how often you'll wear them. For a traditional fit that molds to your body, a new pair should feel very snug. If you prefer to be comfortable from the start, a slightly looser fit is a great choice for your time at Oktoberfest. Our team can help you find the perfect fit.

Do I really have to wear Tracht to go to Oktoberfest?

No, it is not required. However, wearing Tracht is a key part of the Oktoberfest experience. The majority of locals and visitors wear dirndls and Lederhosen to celebrate the tradition. It's the best way to fit in and have a more authentic experience.

Do you offer shipping?

No, we do not offer shipping services, either internationally or locally.

What are the rules for taking photos and videos in the store?

We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of our customers. Many people feel disturbed if others take photos or videos of them, especially in the changing rooms. Please keep your phone in your pocket to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We do not offer refunds and exchanges are for store credit only. All items must be new, unworn, and undamaged. This strict policy, especially during Oktoberfest, is in place to protect our items from being used as a free rental service.
